The release of the blackout Luminox Foundation – ‘I GOT YOUR 6’ limited edition timepiece is inspired by a special forces’ mantra, ‘I GOT YOUR 6’, which is a military shorthand for ‘I GOT YOUR BACK’. Launching with only 1006 exclusive pieces worldwide, this new watch reflects the essence of unbreakable brotherhood, loyalty, support, and readiness to face any challenge.
Originating from air force pilot terminology, ‘I GOT YOUR 6’ refers to the position directly behind someone at the 6 o’clock position. In military units worldwide, this mantra embodies camaraderie and unwavering support. The ‘I G Y 6’ inscription on the dial between 6 and 9 o’clock, glows brilliantly in dark or low-light environments when charged, utilizing Super-LumiNova® technology to pay tribute to the incredible work of the military units around the world. This is in addition to the ice blue and yellow vertically positioned Luminox Light Technology (LLT) tubes used at each hour marker, providing readability in complete darkness.
