Luminox is Proud to be a Sponsor of the Chapman Challenge

The Chapman Challenge organized by YTL Hotels has gained a massive following in the last 2 years. The aim of the challenge was to commemorate Colonel Chapman when he survived in the Malayan jungle after he and his fellow officer, Major R Broone did not made it out in time. With determination and the help of the locals, both Colonel Chapman and his comrade survived in the jungle for three years, before swimming 45 m in the dark towards the royal blue submarine where they were finally saved. The challenge includes a 3.8 km run around the island, 2.4 km through the rainforest before a concluding 1.2 km swim in the sea of the Emerald Bay which is the re-enactment of the escape made by Colonel Chapman himself.
